Hi, I'm Sam, a Berlin based wedding photographer and I love weddings!

I love the raw emotions, the romance, the coming together of friends and family who we rarely get to see and I consider myself very lucky to have the opportunity to photograph these special moments for so many couples as their wedding photographer.

I love everything about wedding photography but I particularly love weddings because I love photographing people and capturing their real moments and emotions, knowing that your photographs will bring back memories of how your day really felt for years to come.

I'm English. I'm married (best day ever), I have a cheeky 2 year old son (best thing ever!). I think i'm great at jokes (my wife disagrees).

I am passionate about creating a relaxed, fun environment for my couples where I record all of your magical moments while ensuring you enjoy your wedding day to the full.

I'm a wedding photographer in Berlin, Potsdam & Brandenburg but I love 'destinations weddings' abroad too. Book me for wedding photography on the Amalfi Coast and I will love you forever!

My business is story telling. Photographing genuine emotions & moments.

My goal isn’t just to provide pretty wedding photographs but it’s to also really understand who you are as a couple and to be able to tell your story, resulting in wedding photos that you will want to treasure for years and generations to come.

For the majority of your wedding day I will work discreetly, blending into the background, as a candid documentary wedding photographer. This means that, using a silent camera system, I will candidly photograph your day exactly as it happens, capturing the real and genuine moments and emotions.

I’ll photograph you, your friends and your family as you are rather than me interfering and asking you to pose in certain ways. Your wedding photographs should represent the story of your actual wedding day, not how I think it should be.

I want you to not just love the wedding photographs when you first see them but I want you to see them as invaluable memories for all time and this is why I value photographing the real, true and genuine emotions and moments.

I don’t work for my couples but rather I work WITH them. I want you to have an amazing time and enjoy your magical day to the full while I photograph every second, camera in hand, grin on my face and loving life.

I take your big day seriously…

I can’t stress this part enough – your day means everything to me and I approach every single wedding with the same enthusiasm, motivation and dedication.
For peace of mind, all of my photos are backed up the very instant I press the shutter button and i’ll carry backup equipment in the event of gear failure.
I pride myself on not only beautifully catching the big moments but also photographing all the small in-between ones too.

Photography isn’t ‘just a job’ for me. It’s my passion. It’s my happy place.
It is an absolute privilege to be able to photograph so many weddings for my lovely couples.
I love creating stunning images and always strive for the best. I’m keen to always develop and love trying out new techniques and methods.

At least I think so.

While I may be hunting for the most flattering light, or trying to remember where I left my lens cap, I promise you that I am walking around with a smile on my face and a good dad joke ready. I love working with kids, with grandparents, and especially any animals that might find themselves into your wedding party.

I think i’m kind of funny. My wife disagrees.

Got a unique and slightly crazy idea? Lets do it. If you have shots in mind that require the extra effort, I’ll do everything I can to make your vision a part of your delivery.

I have also been known to join in the party, making sure I capture all those unique photo moments from up close.

It’s your big day, you should enjoy it!
My goal is to make your whole wedding photography experience as easy as possible from our initial talk right through to delivery of the wedding photos, and this is where I shine.
Also, I’m really not a fan of having my photo taken either so I get it, I really do. I still remember how I felt getting out of the car before my own engagement photo shoot so if you’re unsure about how to pose, where to stand, or how to smile – just let me know and I can Google some great jokes before your wedding to help break the tension.

My philosophy is that high quality, professional wedding photography should be accessible, affordable and fair so i’ve tried to keep my packages simple, catering to different budgets and weddings photography needs.

My aim is to be up front and honest with my pricing as I understand that talking about money isn’t always easy and so you can see exactly what you will get and exactly what you’re paying for to help you make an informed choice.

My ultimate goal is for my couples to be happy from start to finish, with beautiful wedding photos to look back while not breaking the bank.
